Are LEDs changing economic trends?
Despite the increasing number of electronic devices that need a daily charge, the United States has seen a steady decline in energy use. It has been observed that some trends have created this decline in electricity use. First, energy-saving appliances have become more common in homes. Second, Edison's incandescent bulb has been dethroned by the
ultra-efficient LED.
THE LEDS ARE TENDING
As more than 450 million LEDs have been installed. Almost 70 percent of Americans have bought LEDs to date. All that is said, low energy lighting now accounts for 80 percent of all lighting sales. ”This includes LED and CFL.
WHY LEDS HAVE A MOMENT
It is no secret why LEDs are currently in the spotlight. They use 85 percent less energy than their counterparts and last much longer. With the increasing adoption of
LED lighting, the use of electricity is not the only thing that is declining. So are the prices of LED bulbs. They are now competitively priced with more traditional light bulbs and are expected to have the most sales in the lighting industry in less than a decade.
REMAIN IN TREND WITH LEDs
While LEDs are increasingly common, only about 5 percent of households use only LED lighting. Advance the lighting curve and
install LED lights in your home, business and more. There is an LED for almost everything you can imagine!
